Long-Term Care

More than a nanny — a member of the family

Finding the right long-term nanny is a deeply personal process. It's about trust, shared values, and building a meaningful connection with someone who will play an essential role in your child’s daily life. At Snowmass Nannies, we specialize in thoughtfully matching families with dedicated caregivers who offer more than just supervision — they become part of the family.

How it works

We specialize in connecting families with exceptional long-term nannies through a thoughtful and personalized process. Whether you're seeking full-time, part-time, or live-in care, we draw from our trusted network and rigorously screen new applicants to ensure a strong match for your family’s needs and lifestyle.

Our thorough vetting process means you’ll only meet candidates who are truly aligned with your expectations. You choose who to interview, and we encourage trial sessions with your top picks so you can feel completely confident before making a decision.

Once you've found the right fit, we assist with compensation and benefits discussions, draft employment agreements, and guide you through best practices for a successful long-term relationship.

What to expect

Hiring a nanny is an investment in your child’s development, your peace of mind, and your family’s well-being. We dedicate our time to our nannies’ success and believe they should be compensated fairly for their experience and expertise, reflecting the scope of their role and the support they provide to your family.

In general, you can expect to invest in the following when hiring a nanny: a placement fee is required to begin the search, followed by an agency fee equal to 25% of the nanny’s total gross annual compensation.

Additionally, you can expect to pay a nanny a minimum of $30-$40 per hour, depending on the role's specifications and expectations. This rate can vary based on the nanny’s experience, the number and ages of children, and specific job requirements.
